WHY: |
Miami-Dade County Public Schools is conducting a Disparity Study and invites all interested parties to a public forum. The study will review the utilization of Minority- and Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) for the Miami-Dade County Public School District (District). MGT of America (MGT) will be the consulting group facilitating the study.
The study will examine the procurement of construction and construction- and design-related professional services for the District, subcontracting practices of prime contractors/lead professional consultants who do business with the District, and the anecdotal evidence collected from a broad cross section of M/WBE and non-M/WBE firms. The purpose of the public forum is MGT will be available to answer questions construction and construction- and design-related firms may have pertaining to the District’s disparity study.
