*** PHOTO RELEASE*** SUPERINTENDENT CARVALHO RECEIVES HISPANIC HERITAGE AWARD Superintendent of Schools Alberto M. Carvalho was honored at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, this evening at the Hispanic Heritage Awards ceremony. Carvalho was recognized with the Education Award for his academic achievements in one of the largest Hispanic-serving districts in the country as well as for his stance on Dreamers, undocumented students who live in this country.
