WHY:

The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation recently awarded a $200,000 grant to NFTE South Florida in support of Digital Classroom programming to benefit young M-DCPS entrepreneurs.  The Digital Classroom is a new initiative of the NFTE to create a technology-enabled 21st century youth entrepreneurship network.  M-DCPS is committed to assuring students equitable access to 21st century technology and a quality educational environment.
