General Obligation Bond Groundbreaking event

A series of groundbreaking events will take place across Miami-Dade County over the next two weeks. Voters overwhelmingly passed a $1.2 billion General Obligation Bond referendum to modernize and construct school buildings throughout the district, expand student capacity, enhance facility safety and provide technology upgrades at all schools.

Upgrades and new buildings for school sites are well into the design process, in preparation for construction.  New wireless infrastructure has been installed at many schools, paving the way for our schools moving into the digital age.
