General Obligation Bond Groundbreaking event

One of the series of events occurring across Miami-Dade County showcasing the works planned as a result of the $1.2 billion General Obligation Bond referendum that was overwhelmingly passed by voters. The plan is to modernize and construct school buildings throughout the district, expand student capacity, enhance facility safety and provide technology upgrades at all schools.

Upgrades and new buildings for school sites are well into the design process, in preparation for construction. New wireless infrastructure has been installed at many schools, paving the way for our schools moving into the digital age.
