41 M-DCPS EDUCATORS WRAP UP FLORIDA TURNAROUND LEADERS PROGRAM
Forty-one Miami-Dade County Public Schools educators graduated from the prestigious Florida Turnaround Leaders Program last week. The rigorous two-year course is considered one of the largest and most successful programs of its kind. They were among a group of 83 educators in throughout the state.
The project was a collaborative effort between the Florida Department of Education, the Southern Regional Education Board, five Florida school districts, and the University of North Florida. Leaders were identified by their districts as potential future leaders who could rise to the challenge of becoming a turnaround leader.
