WHAT:

WHY:

For the first time ever, all 146 M-DCPS HealthConnect Clinics, located at schools throughout the District, will be providing free immunizations on-site. Since many of the nurses in the clinics have not immunized children with these specific vaccines, the Miami-Dade County Health Department, in collaboration with The Children’s Trust, is providing trainings and resources to ensure all nurses are properly prepared to help students meet the immunization requirements of the Centers for Disease Control.
