STEM Expo is a gathering of Miami-Dade County's most creative, intelligent, and resourceful students that compete and demonstrate their prowess in STEM activities. This year’s theme is from iDeas to Reality. The STEM Expo is an event that showcases the fruits of their hard work and provides a learning experience on the responsibility of communicating STEM research and engineering designs to the community.

Vice Admiral Vivek H. Murthy Surgeon General of the United States, a Miami Palmetto Senior High School alumnus, will be on hand to make remarks and meet with students. Dr. Murthy was Valedictorian of Miami Palmetto’s Class of 1994.
