WHY: |
Triple Crown winner, two-time most valuable player and eight-time All-Star baseball player Miguel Cabrera donated $60,000 to Homestead High School’s baseball program through his Miguel Cabrera Foundation. The funds were used to build a dugout for the school’s field. Cabrera will attend the ribbon cutting and will throw out the first pitch.
