Held annually, the FIU CEC Engineering Expo opens the doors of The Computer and Engineering Center to Miami-Dade County Public Schools elementary, middle, and high school students.
Science, technology, engineering, and math will take center stage as students tour labs, interact with FIU students and professors, and get an interactive, hands-on introduction to cutting edge science and design. This year, over 700 Miami-Dade public school students from more than 25 schools will participate in this fantastic outreach activity to encourage students to consider a career in the STEM fields. The Engineering Expo is the culmination to National Engineering Week.
