Superintendent Carvalho, School Board members and community leaders will participate in a series of special events taking place across Miami-Dade County to kick-off school bond projects resulting from the overwhelming voter approval of the $1.2 billion General Obligation Bond. The bond will be used to modernize and construct school buildings throughout the district, expand student capacity, enhance facility safety and provide technology upgrades at all schools.
