The United States celebrates May 1st as Law Day. To help our students understand the importance of our laws and to learn about topics such as justice or the liberties provided for by the United States Constitution, M-DCPS will hold a Law Day Youth Summit with participation of members of our legal community.

- Participation of The Honorable Justice Peggy Quince, Florida Supreme Court; Wilfredo Ferrer, United States Attorney, Southern District of Florida; Robert Jack, Public Interest Career Counselor St. Thomas University School of Law; Herman J. Russomanno III, Esq., Miami Dade County Bar President; The Honorable Maria Elena Verde, Judge, Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
- Various activities to highlight the Magna Carta as a legal document.
- Students from selected  legal academies interacting with each other
