2018 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee Ray Allen, Ray of Hope Foundation Donate Bikes to Homestead Middle School with Mack Cycle & Fitness, Giant Bicycle Co.
Hall of Famer, 10x NBA All-Star, 2x NBA Champion, New York Times bestseller and philanthropist Ray Allen; Mack Cycle & Fitness; Giant Bicycle Co.; University of Miami BikeSafe Program; students and staff from Homestead Middle School
Ray Allen’s Ray of Hope Foundation, Mack Cycle & Fitness and Giant Bicycle Co. will donate 25 bicycles, helmets and locks to students at Homestead Middle School in celebration of the students’ academic achievements. The University of Miami BikeSafe Program is providing a curriculum and teaching points for the event to encourage safe riding. Earlier this year, the Ray of Hope Foundation donated a new state-of-the-art computer lab to the school.

The Ray of Hope Foundation has donated or raised money to donate computers, furniture, paint, and classroom updates to several computer labs in Boston, Hartford and Miami area public schools, including Homestead Middle. With the help of Mack Cycle & Fitness and Giant Bicycle Co.
The Ray of Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization established by NBA Star Ray Allen. The foundation assists with sports-related and community-based programs and provides avenues of opportunity through which youth can hope to realize their full potential.
