Ray Allen’s Ray of Hope Foundation, in partnership with Loews Miami Beach Hotel’s annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, and with support from Jay Hatfield's Tutoring America are donating a state-of-the-art computer lab to Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center.
The Ray of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization established by NBA Star Ray Allen, assists with sports-related and community-based programs and provides avenues of opportunity through which our youth can hope to realize their full potential. The foundation has donated or raised money to donate computers, furniture, paint, and classrooms updates to make computer labs at several schools in the northeast U.S.
Since 2017 Tutoring America, a nonprofit organization, has been working to help close the education gap that prevents low-income youth from achieving their full potential as students. The organization's grants go directly to existing schools and community organizations to fund qualified tutors, tutoring software and computers. For more, visit TutoringAmerica.org.
The Ray Allen Loews Miami Beach Celebrity Golf Tournament brings together sports and entertainment stars to raise money for education. Since 2010, Loews Miami Beach Hotel’s Celebrity Golf Tournament has raised more than $450,000 in resources for classrooms and students across Miami-Dade County.
