Finalists for Assistant Principal of the Year:

WHY:

Every year, M-DCPS honors its finest school leaders during an awards ceremony sponsored by Dade Association of School Administrators (DASA). This is an opportunity to salute outstanding principals and assistant principals in the District. Each winner and runner-up will receive an award and a cash prize. This year’s winners and runners-up will be announced at an in-person awards ceremony that will also be live streamed.

 

The Principal of the Year winner will receive a $2,000 cash prize and a three-year lease on a car sponsored by Toyota of North Miami. The Assistant Principal of the Year will receive a $1,500 cash prize and a 65-inch TV from Aflac.

 

This event is made possible through a partnership with Equitable, Toyota of North Miami, EdFed (formerly South Florida Educational Financial Credit Union), Ibiley, AIG, Bencor, Brian Power Wellness, Aflac, Carnegie Learning, HMH, Brown and Bigelow, Tropical Financial Credit Union, Miami Heat, Miami Marlins, Certo Risto & Pizza, and FROST Science.
