Superintendent Dotres will bring greetings to 1,800 students who will have the opportunity to hear from business and industry leaders. The conference will deepen the impact of preparing students to be career future ready. This year’s theme, “Developing Our Leaders and Innovators,” will thread the concept of developing an “entrepreneurial” mindset in all sessions.
The event is
part of an ongoing effort to provide career academy students with insight into
the importance of college, career and life readiness. The conference features break-out sessions,
college/career fair and interviews by industry professionals with students
eligible for summer internships.
The keynote
speaker is Jennifer Arbelaez, Service Line Director–Global Services
Security, Akamai Technologies.
