The Foundation for New Education Initiatives (FNEI) is hosting the 9th Annual Race for Education to benefit local public schools. The run//walk promotes health and wellness in our community. FNEI will donate a percentage of the race proceeds to participating schools based on the number of participants each school team registers.

The 5K (3.1 miles) course starts and finishes at the Dan Paul Plaza behind the Miami HEAT Arena. The route heads eastbound on the MacArthur Causeway, then loops around onto Watson Island before heading back.
Adults may register as a Runner/Walker with a $30.00 + $2.80 registration fee. Students have three options to choose from: 5K, 1-mile Run, and the Kid’s Dash for children ages 2-9. Registration for each student option is $10.00 + $1.60 registration fee. Participants can register as an individual or join an existing team.
Prices will increase on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at
11:59 p.m. EST.
