Mental Health Service Day is an opportunity for schools to showcase the resources and innovative programs available to students. Administrators, teachers, staff and students will
participate in a resource fair.
Among the participants are:
· National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), which provides mental health support the families.
· Mindful Kids will show students techniques such as yoga, centered breathing and meditation.
· The Kevin Love Foundation will provide an affirmation station with a licensed clinician where students can express themselves through drawing, writing or a song
.· The M-DCPS Parent Academy will offer additional information on their programs.
