As part of its commitment to
gather parent feedback on the important topic of reopening schools, Miami-Dade
County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is extending the deadline of its parent survey
by five additional days. Parents/guardians of M-DCPS students will now have
until end of day, Wednesday, May 27, 2020 to complete the online survey.
The District is considering
multiple scenarios, taking into account public health guidelines and other
variables. The survey gathers parental input on various possible aspects of
reopening schools, including personal protective equipment, busing, staggered
in-school schedules, class spacing, physical education, hygiene practices, and
more.
The survey can be accessed in
English, Spanish, or Haitian-Creole, on the Dadeschools mobile app, on the parent
portal at dadeschools.net/parents or by clicking on the links below:
