Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is continuing
its efforts to close the digital divide and provide connectivity to students
without reliable internet at home through a partnership with T-Mobile’s Project
10Million. Through this endeavor, M-DCPS secured 35,000 hotspot devices with
unlimited high-speed data for M-DCPS students without home internet
access.
Last weekend, the hotspots were distributed at three
locations countywide – Miami Senior High, Golden Glades Elementary, and Robert
Morgan Technical College - at no cost to students.
