M-DCPS Schools, Facilities to Reopen Thursday, November 10

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) has been closely monitoring Tropical Storm Nicole’s track and has been working directly with the National Hurricane Center and Miami-Dade Office of Emergency Management.

Based on the latest information from the National Weather Service, which has determined that Miami-Dade County is no longer under a Tropical Storm Watch, and after consultation with the County’s emergency officials, M-DCPS schools, and all facilities will reopen on Thursday, November 10, 2022. All adult, after-care programs, athletics, and school activities will also resume.

Friday, November 11, 2022, is Veterans Day, a federal holiday, therefore all M-DCPS schools and facilities will be closed.
