M-DCPS Welcomes 400 New Educators during a New Teacher Make-Up Orientation Event

Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jose L. Dotres and School Board Chair Mari Tere Rojas welcomed some 400 new educators to a New Teacher Make-up Orientation held today at Miami Springs Senior High School.  The event was for all new teachers, instructional support, and student services personnel who were hired after August 10, 2023.

Participants engaged in professional learning opportunities, including the framework of effective instruction, content-specific sessions, and mentoring and induction for new teachers.
