Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) has been working directly with the National Weather Service and Miami-Dade Office of Emergency Management to monitor Hurricane Milton and its potential impact to South Florida. After consultation with the County’s emergency officials, Schools Superintendent Dr. Jose L. Dotres announced that all Miami-Dade County public schools and facilities will reopen tomorrow, Friday, October 11. All Adult Education classes, after-care programs, athletics and school activities will resume as well.
To provide ease of access to information regarding M-DCPS’ response to Hurricane Milton, the District continues to provide assistance via the M-DCPS Support Center from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. to assist stakeholders with questions.
