Board Members Rojas, Colucci Chosen to Lead Miami-Dade School Board

Board member Mari Tere Rojas was re-elected Wednesday to Chair the Miami-Dade County School Board for the coming year. A veteran educator with more than 45 years in Miami-Dade County Public Schools, she was first elected to the School Board in 2016 and is now serving her fourth term as representative for District 6. This is her fourth time as Chair.
 
Board member Monica Colucci, who represents District 8, was re-elected as Vice Chair of the School Board. An educator for over 26 years, she was first elected to the School Board in November 2022. This is her third time as Vice Chair.
